Effective October 23, 2026. These terms apply to GovBot Weather, Water & Floods at water.govbot.ai, operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Permitted use

Use this read-only service for public-record research. No sign-in or purchase is required. Respect rate limits and the published terms of each source. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit confidential information.

Source qualifications

Records have different dates and coverage limits. Preserve source citations, dates, units and vertical datums when reusing results. Search results are bounded and are not evidence that no event, alert, gauge or levee exists. Local Storm Reports are preliminary; archived alerts and past warning polygons are historical records; rainfall estimates, precipitation frequency and flood study elevations are estimates, statistics and model results.

Limits of the service

The service is not an emergency alerting service and must not be relied on for life-safety decisions; use official National Weather Service products and local emergency officials. It does not certify flood safety or provide insurance, engineering or legal determinations. Records are provided as available without a guarantee of completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular decision. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
